Christmas is developed by XME Inc. This policy explains how information is handled when you use Christmas on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, or Android. Features and permissions may vary by platform.
Made for listening, without an account.
Christmas does not require registration. We do not use advertising identifiers, advertising SDKs, or third-party behavioral analytics in the app. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not track your activity across other companies’ apps or websites.
Your music selections, volume levels, playback preferences, and sleep and wake timer settings are stored on your device. The app does not send your listening history or timer settings to XME Inc.
If you email us for help, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to you, troubleshoot your request, and maintain the relevant support correspondence. Please avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for support.
Beautiful scenery, delivered to your device.
The app connects to XME Inc.’s content services to retrieve available video backdrops and app notices. Video content is currently delivered through coverbandtracks.com, and app notices may be retrieved from xmeinc.com. Downloads may be cached on your device for future playback.
Like any internet connection, these requests expose your IP address and ordinary technical request information to the server while the connection is processed. We do not use these requests to build personal profiles or track your listening. Our app content service is configured not to retain IP-address access logs.
Bundled music and photos can be enjoyed offline. Online video downloads require an internet connection and may use mobile data, depending on your settings.
Permissions with a clear purpose.
- Notifications: where supported, notifications help deliver your scheduled wake timer and provide playback controls or ongoing playback status. They are not used for advertising.
- Alarms and reminders: on Android, alarm access helps the wake timer activate at the time you choose. The app may restore a scheduled wake timer after your device restarts.
- Background playback: audio and related system services let music continue while you use another app or turn off the screen.
- Network access: the app uses the internet and connection status to load online scenery and app notices.
Christmas does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location. You can manage permissions in your device’s Settings. Turning off notifications or alarm access may limit wake timer or playback notification features.
You stay in control.
Local preferences and downloaded content remain on your device until you change or remove them, clear app storage where supported, or uninstall the app. Your operating system may include app data in backups according to your backup settings. Removing the app does not necessarily remove an existing device backup.
We retain support correspondence only for as long as needed to address your request, maintain relevant support records, or meet legal obligations. You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have provided directly to us, subject to applicable law. There is no app account to delete.
We use reasonable safeguards for information we handle and HTTPS for app content connections. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
A general-audience holiday experience.
Christmas is a general-audience music and scenery app and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
Clear information as the app evolves.
We may update this policy as the app, our practices, or applicable requirements change. We will publish the updated policy here and revise the effective date. If a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required.
